September 5th, 2007  Press Luncheon   

A sit down lunch for 75 people from the media, a short program from Jennifer Williams and a raffle to support Friends of WINGS.

September 6th, 2007  Cocktail Party  

Over 750 customers joined to explore the new building, enjoy martinis and wine and celebrate the new showroom opening.

September 8th, 2007  Family BBQ Open House 

Over 400 customers and their families attended this event, enjoyed some delicious food and had fun outside.

To celebrate, Saint Louis Closet Co. was proud to present guest speaker Claire Keeling, President of Sort It Out, a St. Louis company that focuses on organization of companies, general organizational details and paper management. KMOX’s Carol Daniel hosted the event that drew over 150 attendees enthusiastic attendees and Saint Louis Cellars conducted fabulous wine tastings.  We all got some great tips for how to get organized in 2008 and we hopefully inspired some people to really make changes in the way they organize themselves and their families.  Thank you to everyone who came out!

Saint Louis Closet Co. was proud to be the Presenting Sponsor at the 6th Annual Friends of WINGS Big Bear Brunch, on Saturday December 1st. Located at the Clayton Ritz Carlton, the brunch ran from 10:30am-12:30pm.

WINGS (www.friendsofwings.com) is a non-profit organization that provides clinical, emotional, spiritual, social, and practical support and services to children who have progressive life threatening or life limiting illnesses or conditions regardless of their ability to pay.

Brunch activities included an appearance by FredBird and other favorite characters, creative cookie decorating, and much more.

Along with a new building, the Saint Louis Closet Co. product line has added three new colors:

• Caramel, a light and creamy brown with nice wood grain

• Cherry, a brown-based cherry with exceptional detail 

• Walnut, a deep rich chocolate brown.  

Also new are tilt-out laundry hampers, which make handling laundry more efficient, and fold out ironing boards, which are great for laundry rooms and large walk-ins and bend nicely into a 14” deep section taking up only the space of one drawer.

Another new feature at our Maplewood Showroom is our Selection Rooms: Saint Louis Closet Co. knows how important just the perfect decision is when it comes to your closet, so we built 2 private selection rooms just for our customers to pick the perfect color and hardware. 2007 was filled with exciting changes for Saint Louis Closet Co. After 14 months of renovation, the company has moved into 30,000 square feet in their new building, located at 2626 S. Big Bend in Maplewood. “Due to enormous growth over the last five years, we had run out of space for manufacturing, new product lines and office staff,” said Jennifer Williams, owner. “By purchasing the new building, we have doubled our manufacturing capabilities and have added significant space to our showroom.”

The new showroom is the home to a new Murphy bed line, a new real wood line, and many more color and hardware options.  With conference rooms customized for designer consultations and an 11 foot window to view manufacturing, the new location has something for everyone.  “The best way to sell closets is to allow people access to the showrooms so they can come in to see the product,” Williams says. “A picture doesn’t always do what you want it to do.” Customers have enjoyed touring the new building and appreciated the additional displays.
